What documents do I need to rent a car?
A valid driving licence and your national ID card or passport. Our team will guide you through the short paperwork when you collect the car.
Can I rent a car in Sri Lanka with a foreign licence?
Yes. If you are visiting Sri Lanka for less than 12 months, bring your valid foreign driving licence together with an International Driving Permit (IDP) from your home country. If you don’t have an IDP, an official English translation of your licence is accepted. We can also guide you if you need a local temporary permit.
What is the minimum age to rent a car?
You need to be 21 or older, with a driving licence recognised under Sri Lankan law and at least 2 years of driving experience.
